Gym Frenzy

6 people crapped nia? Gimme more!

Yes, finally I decided to step into my company's gym after 3 months of working.

I am such a procrastinator, yeah I know that.

Even everyday I listened to " cares" saying I should carry on with my new year resolution and never postponed things up. It did not help me much.

Friend: "Dey, macha... How's your exercising plan goin on?"

d . e . s : "That is my NEXTTTT year's resolution, 2009!"

haha kidding...

In respond to Wanster's gym inspiration, I decided to give it a try after such a long absence.

I remembered the last time I went to gym was back my uni 3 months before my final exam. That was since I last injured my spine due to prolonged hours sitting with laptop in front of me. That should be slouching instead of sitting, LOL...

Prior to that, I had a terrible ankle injury with torn ligament suffered froma futsal tournament. That was well enough to keep me away from gym for the whole of 9 months.

Nevertheless, it was never enough to deter my spirits of boredom from preventing me to hit the gym. Working life is pretty routine, makes me ponder of what I should make a change on myself. Last week, I finally braved myself to go to the gym alone.

My gym routine began last Monday, followed subsequently on Tuesday and Thursday. The first day I tried out practically all the machines, just to get used to it and tune myself to sweat it all out. It was fun.

I followed suit with chest workout on the following days. Lucky me I still remember all the things Kah Wai used to teach me. He is still my idol in gym. His gym prowess simply drives me to push for the extra pound.
I shall be back to the gym tomorrow, with some bicep workout combined with some cardio workout.

p/s: Every man's dream body tone... How I wish one day I can lift my shirt and proudly have a look at my abs, just like him...

Of Malaysian and Singaporean

0 people crapped nia? Gimme more!

A Singaporean was on holiday in Malaysia..
He was having his coffee, croissant, bread, butter & jam at the hotel's coffee house.
A Malaysian man who was chewing gum, sat down next to him & started a casual conversation.

Malaysian : "You Singaporeans eat the whole bread?"
Singaporean : "Of course."
Malaysian : "We don't. In Malaysia , we only eat what's inside. The crusts we collect in a container, recycle it, transform them into croissants & sell them across to Singapore ."

The Malaysian then had a smirk on his face while the Singaporean listened in silence.

Malaysian : "Do you eat the jam with the bread?"
Singaporean : "Of course."
Malaysian (chuckling): "We don't. In Malaysia , we eat fresh fruit for breakfast, then we put all the peels, seeds & other left-overs in a container, recycle them, transform them into jam, before we sell it across to Singapore ."

This time, the Singaporean retorted : "Do you have sex in Malaysia ?"
Malaysian : "Why, of course we do"
Singaporean : "Do you wear protection"
Malaysian : "Of course! We wear condoms."
Singaporean : "And what do you do with the condoms once you've used them?"
Malaysian : "Stupid question ! Of course we throw them away."
Singaporean : "We don't. In Singapore , the government secretly puts them in a container, recycle them, melt them down into chewing gum & sell them across to Malaysia,... & that's the real reason why we banned chewing gum in Singapore ."

0 people crapped nia? Gimme more!

At last, I got time to blog... again.

I guess all my readers oledi cabut... time to korek them back again LOL

My bad, my bad.

CNY had brought me mixed feelings.

Joy - Meeting up old friends and relatives, sharing moments and laughters together. Really, I can never ask for more!

Health - The past year I was really blessed with great health. Thank goodness. Of course, it was a year where I really whacked a lot of new food.

Wealth - Errrr... this year was a bad beginning with me losing to Eve a couple of times in this annual gamble fest. You can see her comments in my cbox. Sigh.

Solemn - Nian Ning's demise still lie deep within everyone's heart. It is a great loss.

Empty - Life being together with the working class community. Routine 6am wake up- work- eat- sleep over the weekdays and a mere 2 days rest over the weekend. Tired.

Happening - Training under 2 superb guys filled with crazy jokes and laughters. Plus learning a great deal of knowledge. Priceless.

Gaming - Picked up new past time: foosball. Hell of a game that is really addictive. However, still god damn poor at it.

Acts - Planning things up and cracking my brain over the petition stuff. Nice time meeting people from all walks of life, supporting out petition. Learning some legal terms as well as figuring out our rights and limitation.

Now you guys know what I have been up to recently.

Where Is The News?

0 people crapped nia? Gimme more!

Now the news is gone. Yes, as expected.

VK Lingam's video inquiry is more interesting.

Moreover, the upcoming election news creating havoc in the local scene.

Edison Chen's "heroic" act even caught more attention than them.

Even today's newspaper only have a small column for little Sharlinie's case.

How about the Slim River Bus Tragedy???

Sad, feeling helpless. We are all expecting this to happen, but nevertheless never give up our faith in our fight. We still have a mission - to create public awareness, to gather apathy from everyone. We won't let our effort to be put in vain and taken for granted.

Instead of waiting for people to reach us, by our representatives and our blogs, we are on the verge of reaching towards the people by our new monthly newsletters. Plans are underway thanks to Sun Tzu II and co. Passengers In Peril should be reaching to you once it is officially up.

Latest updates from our Petition Team includes the current e-signatures number stands at 8947 and the those signatures in black and white is around 3,000 collected by close friends of Nian Ning. It's amazing that it all took place within a week.

Frankly speaking, the rate dropped extremely... where are the rest of the Malaysians? Come on people, show some love by signing our petition. We are still shy from the magic 26,000...

Upon this, we would like to call upon people who have experience in this petition to share their thoughts and idea on the proceedings. You guys can reach me by my mail or just drop me a call. My details are in the Bus Crash No More blog.

My Answer to the Criticisms

1 people crapped nia? Gimme more!

Here are my two cents worth of thought for those going AGAINST our Petition in Bus Crash No More.

We have been receiving enormous support all this while. Undeniably, there are some people having different mindsets. Hence, I think I should say something, to clarify the misunderstanding.

1. The sole reason we created this petition is hoping that the authorities would implement safety measures in our transportation system. I think I made this pretty clear in all of my previous posts. But some have the mindset saying our petition is going no where further than what we are facing right now.

Being a Malaysian, I can't deny majority would say that a petition would not probably work as compared to nations like the US. Some queried us that why are we wasting our time knewing that we are gona fail anyway and anyhow? Are they gonna say that everytime I try, I am actually wasting my time?

My answer to them is simple. Put yourself in the shoes of the victim's family. Are you gonna sit down and keep numb? Not doing anything to seek justice? You maybe right that I might not be achieving anything out of this, I already accepted this as a fact, even my legal advisors mentioned to me countless time. But eventually, before we even get the petition started, we envisaged a clear picture in our minds: the outcome of the petition is SECONDARY, at least we tried and do something.

Just like when you know you are not gona score full As for your exam, why do you still mind going to attend the exams? You wont get the scholarship rite!!! But, if you never try, you will never know!

2. Some people expressed their feelings in such a harsh manner to critic our effort, saying that when we do not even have guts to attend ceramah or rallies, why are we having the guts to start a petition? They even questioned that what we have been learning all this while is to be literate, and not to be educated.

I accepted the fact of them being rude and it is their way of expressing their feelings. They claimed to be "educated" maa... Educated people curse nowadays? Nah, I'm not gonna bother about that. But then...does a petition need to be related to attending ceramah and rallies? Are they trying to imply that people who attended ceramah and rallies, they have guts and balls in size of a coconut? This is nonsensicle. I believe and I still have faith in our education system. Many of the people have graduated and doing exceptionally well, but some might not benefit from it. It depends on how you wana train yourself to be, if people say I am uneducated, it's up to their judgement. I won't waste my time arguing with them.

Besides, if those people wanna critic me of having no guts, how about themselves, posting comments ANONYMOUSLY. That is very brave is it? Your own blog don't even have your name! Yet, you are claiming yourself to be "god-like" or hero in the cyberworld, creating waves all over. Yes, we do moderate our comments column to avoid seditious comments. So do you, you also deleted negative remarks by your own readers. You too are saving your own asses, and please look at yourself before you "spit" at others'.

3. The critics on me posting paid posts in my blog and out of a suddent turned into a petition initiator. Does it really matter who initiated a petition? You might say if fehmes bloggers like Jeff Ooi and Nat Tan who stood firm for human rights may influence you. But people like me who write paid post won't give you a shit, nah how come you are writing your own post to go against my petition? Even Jeff Ooi gave a positive remark to us, and also fehmes people like Haris Ibrahim too gave credits and pointers to us. It's not that we want compliments, but we just want to be heard in a proper manner. Of me writing paid post, it should be for my personal interest, not for you to give excuse to blame me for being uninspirational. Yeah, you may think uttering foul languages is cool.

4. In your comments or blog post, there are so many questionable doubt over your political views. Some even mentioned that I am searching for support from the same party where the Transport Minister came from and then after some time, letting him be in power all over again after the issue cools down. Since when do I make my political stands? I have always been neutral in my posts and never do I share any thought about politics. In fact, I hate politics and that makes me an engineer to be. I am not going against the government, but just want them to hear the voice of the public, towards a safer transportation system. I am not going against the opposition either, we need everyone's support, regardless of background or ethnicity.

All you critics have is a negative mindset that a petition like this would never succeed. If everybody think this way, of course it will inevitably fail. Put yourself in the shoes of the victim's family. You are not going to let things to be taken for granted.

I am not pin pointing at anyone in specific. Just from some gruesome emails received from anonymous people. I think the public should share about this too. I prefer not to discuss about politics in my posting, and I hope everybody can respect my privacy too.

An Update on THE Petition

0 people crapped nia? Gimme more!

None of us would imagine the surmounting pressure we are facing. It is not easy.

WE never expect to receive such an overwhelming support from the public. As the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Yes, we shall not give up and we will notput our effort in vain.

Yesterday, we got ourselves in the streamline of news in all over Malaysia. A great step indeed as we managed to raise the issue up again, after 4 days on non-existence in the papers.

One query: If V.K Lingam's isue is so important, why is the Slim River Tagic Accident be so ignorant to the public? Lives were taken away, is not that sound much more sorrowful for you all? How could this died off in the eyes of the public? If we can make a difference, of cos the authorities will feel the pressure to do SOMETHING for the general public.

Enormous support, more than what we expected. Almost 7000 e-signatures within one week and 30 000 hits so far. We hope we will reach 26 000 signatures in no time. We only depend on every Malaysian and bus passengers to support us. That sounds reasonable enough. We do not wish to see any victims no more.

On the other hand, I would like to stress that BUS CRASH NO MORE is a neutral side which is not against or supporting any political movement. All we want is to make sure our voices to be heard in a peaceful manner, towards a safer MALAYSIA. We hope those seditious comments by readers, especially those offensive and subversive comments will stop immediately. We need to keep our nations as safe and peaceful place to stay, not creating stir in the public.

We all have one mission in mind, which is towards safer long distance bus rides in Malaysia. Certainly not for you guys to post your political propaganda around. We all know the general election is near. The best we can do is to attract as much attention from the authorities, not going against them. We just want safety measures to be implemented.

Is that too much to ask?

Nah, I don't think so.

What do you say?
