Standard statements by the authorities:

1. The hike of the prices is still comparatively low among the ASEAN nations.

2. The government will ensure that the hike of prices will not burden the public.

3. The government no longer able to sustain the subsidy of the oil prices.

Why oh why on earth we must succumb to be a victim of this price increase?
I think it's time to voice out... or else anticipate for a MAJOR price increase after CNY or after the upcoming general elections.

oh by the way, i predict a 30sen price increase after the elections in march 2008. a nice figure of rm2.22... :P

it's really unavoidable. we're living in a fool's paradise when prices everywhere else around the world is increasing. my grouse is how they manage the funds. i don't mind paying more as long as the money is put to good use.

i'll be putting my vote to good use come the next election.
